Children’s Books about the Family

Two stories have been written about the Nuck family.  Mary Welches, a descendent of Matthias Nuck,  provided the history for the stories. Evelyn Priddy, Alan Daugherty, and Barbara Behning of the Gray Dove worked with Mary to complete the books.  All of the time was donated.  Proceeds go to the museum.  As a one-time-only offer, Nuck family descendents may pre-order the books at cost ($2.00 for soft cover and $10.00 for hard cover).  Regularly priced books ($4.00 and $15.00) will be available at the reunion.  Books can be shipped for an additional fee.

A bus will be available to take family members to memorable sites in the Huntington area.  The hour long trip will include a stop at the original site of the Nuck Log House, and the homes of the descendents of Joseph and Margaret Nuck, at the site of the chuch that the Nuck family attended as well as the current church building.  The cost is $4.00.  Seating is limited.  Please register when you arrive.
