Bob Cassell presents "The Voyageurs"

Nearly twenty visitors braved heat, humidity and an eventual thunder storm to spend the afternoon at Historic Forks of the Wabash, with Bob Cassell. Bob's first person interpretation of a French Voyageur kept young and old spell-bound.

A recognized authority on the voyageurs and their Miami partners, Bob's artfully spun tales carried visitors back to the days of the Long Portage, when the Forks of the Wabash was a thriving trade route. Speaking to an audience that included parents, pre-schoolers, high school students, college professors and history professionals, Bob's presentation was a tremendous success. Historic Forks of the Wabash is fortunate to have talented guest interpreters like Bob Cassell as part of our interpretive program.
